Yesterday I left Preston, Idaho, flew over the northeast corner of Utah, then landed in Evanston, Wyoming. The air was smooth the first half of the trip. Then it got bumpy. I had to climb to 11,500 to clear the mountains before landing at Mack Mesa, Colorado (near Grand Junction, Colorado).
I was met by Syndi Jochums, EAA chapter President. We went to lunch and was joined by Sterling, a chapter member. Then she transported me to my Motel.
